The tenet of the Federation of Sri Lankan Local Government Authorities (FSLGA) is to coordinate a unified approach among local authorities to increase their effective participation, strengthen their functions and facilitate joint actions and sound relationships among them. The FSLGA has served as a link through influential representations at forums and gathering and sharing best practices and related experience to maintain local, national and international collaborative relations.
