ASEAN Business Association was established on December 15, 2008, in Bangkok, Thailand. The Association was jointly founded by entrepreneurs from various industries in Thailand, with the mission to enhance members’ competitiveness and expand cooperation opportunities with enterprises worldwide. Over the years, the Association has grown to include more than 1,000 outstanding member companies from diverse sectors in Thailand, and has established close collaborations with numerous government agencies and business associations both domestically and internationally. From 2018 to 2025, the Association was consecutively awarded the title of “Outstanding Association of Thailand” for eight years by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand and the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Adhering to a people-oriented philosophy, the Association has been committed to human resource development. It independently founded a Vocational and Technical Development Academy, offering over 300 courses taught by 200 lecturers, and operates its own publishing house with registered publications. The Association has established 19 offices across the ten ASEAN countries, as well as in China, India, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Oman, Uganda, and Kenya, actively promoting economic and trade cooperation, education, and cultural exchange between Thailand, China, and ASEAN nations to foster shared development.
The Association’s China office is located in Guangxi, focusing on business exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Thai enterprises. It also provides consulting services related to trade, investment, education, and cultural exchange between China and Thailand.
