The National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG) is a nationwide membership-based organization uniting all municipalities of Georgia. Established to strengthen local governance, NALAG serves as a platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and advocacy on behalf of local self-governments. The Association supports municipalities in enhancing their institutional capacities, promoting good governance, and fostering local democracy. NALAG actively engages in international partnerships and networks to encourage peer learning and share best practices in areas such as public services, local economic growth, community participation, etc. Through policy dialogue and cooperation with national and international institutions, NALAG plays a key role in representing the interests of Georgian municipalities and contributing to the overall development and decentralization reforms of the country.
