Argentine Federation of Municipalities (FAM) is a non Profit public entity, created by federal law N°24.807, and represents all municipalities (cities governments) of our country. It is a space that incorporates all proposals and experiences of change and unified projection of local governments of Argentine, in the federal level as in its integration with the rest of the world. FAM has a fundamental part in promotion and instrumentation of actions tending to improve quality of public service through its programs and education seminars that includes different topics. On the international field, FAM its involved actively in FLACMA (Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities and Associations of Local Governments) which is the regional representation of CGLU (World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments). As part of the work of consolidation of relations with the organisms of the area, through FLACMA was created the South American Community of Associations of Municipalities (COSUDAM) in order to support regional integration policies carried on by UNASUR (Union of South American Nations).
