Zibo City is located in the middle part of Shandong Province. The total area of Zibo is 5,965 square kilometers and it has a permanent population of 4.7 million. As the capital of the ancient Qi State and the birthplace of Qi Culture, Zibo has a history of over 3,000 years, with a great many historical and cultural figures born here, including Master Keung, Duke Huan of Qi, Kuan Chung, Yan Ying, Sun Tzu, Zuo Si, Fang Xuanling, Pu Songling, Zhao Zhixin, Wang Yuyang, etc. Zibo is the birthplace of Jixia Academy, the first state-funded school. Various masterpieces were created in Zibo, such as Guan Zi, China’s first management encyclopedia; Art of War, the world’s first book on the art of war; Important Arts for the People’s Welfare, China’s first encyclopedia of agriculture; Artificers’ Record, China’s first masterpiece in engineering; Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, one of the world’s outstanding short stories. A large number of cultural relics have been preserved, including the site of the ancient Qi State, the Martyrdom Pit of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the origin of football, the folk legend of Cowherd and Weaving Maid and Zhoucun Ancient Commercial Mall. Zibo has been rated as the Excellent Tourism City of China. Besides, Zibo is an important industrial city in China and Shandong Province, one of the five major porcelain capitals and the hometown of colored glaze in China，and a unique ecological group city. Zibo is located in the "geometric center" of Shandong's administrative map with superior geographical position and convenient transportation. Zibo is a dynamic and friendly city for young entrepreneurs，striving to build the Five Goods City featuring good study atmosphere, good eye-catching look, good food, good recreation and good business environment.
